For over 100 years, the AKDN has worked to increase the quality and availability of learning opportunities for students of all ages. Its programmes and institutions span the educational spectrum, from early childhood programmes to primary and secondary schools, and from vocational training to university degrees and continuing professional development.
By promoting a continuous ladder of lifetime learning, the Network aims is to give children and young people the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that will help them interact effectively with the world and be contributing members and leaders of a pluralist society.
