In Nizamuddin Basti, known for its Sufi saints and shrines, the Trust is taking a synergistic, community-centred and collaborative approach to cultural and social development to develop public parks, strengthen urban basic services through interventions in three core areas of health, education and environmental sanitation, undertake conservation and rehabilitate public open space. The initiative includes conservation of several important monuments, cultural programming, training of guides, the creation of a public school and toilet facilities and skills training.
