Brother of legendary Malian artist, Bassekou Kouyaté, Moctar is an excellent percussionist and is taking part in the new programme, Bassekou Kouyaté and Garana Roots. This programme is commissioned and curated by the Aga Khan Music Initiative and will be premiered in 2016.
