Meet Seeno

Seeno lives in the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan, one of the most remote parts of the world. As he and his family pursue their dreams, they find expanded opportunities through the Aga Khan Foundation’s (AKF) presence in their community.

AKF’s work in Tajikistan is exemplified by programmes like Thrive Tajikistan.  This five-year (2018–2023) US$ 20 million programme supported by AKF and USAID is working to improve the quality of life for thousands of people living along the Afghan border – helping farmers to improve agricultural production, launching community-based health financing groups, connecting communities to reliable electricity, and much more.
