Portugal
The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Portugal was established 35 years ago to foster social cohesion in communities shaped by migration. Today, AKF Portugal is perhaps the only institution in the country that addresses development challenges across the human life cycle, from early childhood development to senior wellbeing. The goal is to improve quality of life by strengthening social, cultural and economic inclusion to foster a pluralistic society with a cosmopolitan ethic that benefits everybody.
