The Aga Khan School hosted a ceremony to award certificates to teachers at the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Centre in Dhaka. The programme aimed to enhance the pedagogical knowledge and skills of participants, and equip them with strategies and tools to provide a more conducive learning environment for their students. The program was organised in collaboration with the Institute for Educational Development (IED) of the Aga Khan University, to mark the conclusion of a six-month long Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Certification Programme focusing on "Becoming a Reflective Teacher".

The Aga Khan Education Service Pakistan held a regional conference to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of His Highness at the Sultan Mahomed Shah Aga Khan School. The conference illustrated the impact of education in Pakistan over the past 113 years. The conference focused on a study conducted by students mainly in Sindh to trace the history of Aga Khan Schools and highlighted the valuable contribution of the institutions in partnership with the government towards the attainment of national goals for education. The findings show the impact of the schools in building a conducive learning environment and increasing access to quality education.
On 18 November, the three-day Science Technology and Arts Competition concluded at the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Chitral (AKHSS). In his keynote speech, Dr. Hafeezullah of Chitral University spoke about the importance of emphasis on practical form to complement what students learned in theory. The Chief guest, District Police Officer Chitral Mr. Furqan Bilal, appreciated the activities of the host institution and congratulated all the institutions participating in the programme. He was particularly moved to see the performance of AKHSS students on stage.
On 17 November, the Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan, held a regional conference to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the Aga Khan at the Sultan Mahomed Shah Aga Khan School. The conference illustrated the impact of education in Pakistan over the past 113 years since the opening of the first school in Gwadar, Balochistan in 1905. Since then, 160 schools have been established, impacting more than 42,000 students countrywide.
On 17 November, the Aga Khan School Dhaka (Bangladesh) celebrated 30 years of excellence in education with its alumni, students, teachers, and parents. The school and the Aga Khan School Dhaka Alumni Association (AKSDAA) jointly organised the event. The Aga Khan School Dhaka was established in 1988 with only 25 students, seven teachers, and a principal. Today, the student body has grown to over 1,200 students with 200 teachers and staff.
The Aga Khan High School recently hosted the 4th Model United Nations Debate (MUN) aimed at grooming students into excellent researchers, public speakers and debaters as well as inculcating into them good leadership and writing skills. The students discussed political, security ecology, special committees, human rights, health and economic issues. Mr Michael Musaazi, Head teacher of the Aga Khan High School, said the MUN event gives the students an opportunity to mimic the UN in terms of experimenting the model of debate and way of resolving complex issues peacefully.
Aga Khan Education Service (AKES) General Manager Brig Khosh Mohammad said that the progress and prosperity of Chitral depended on development of human resource for which quality education is essential. Speaking at the Teachers’ Appreciation Day held on 30 September in Chitral, he added that the teachers working in AKES schools were known for their excellence in quality education. The AKES GM also said that in Chitral there was no other source of making progress other than developing and harnessing the human resource through education in diverse fields and disciplines.
