In India, the Aga Khan schools – which have been delivering quality early childhood development programmes since 1978 – have developed a home-based blended learning “e-School for Preschool” programme for students aged 3-6 years: 1’000 children across urban and rural regions in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Telangana are learning and connecting digitally from home.

New state-of the-art buildings are being added on three Aga Khan school campuses in Ghizer District to enhance educational opportunities in the area, giving more young and talented students from the surrounding towns and villages – including those from the most remote valleys – a chance to fulfil their potential.
In Gujarat, India, the Aga Khan School, Mundra has achieved affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education to offer Grades 11 and 12, enabling young students to stay home and finish higher secondary school without having to migrate to distant cities.
In the Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan, foundations have been laid for two state-of-the-art Aga Khan higher secondary schools in Gupis and Yasin, promising continuity of quality education through Grade 12 for thousands of students in the region.
