Today... A lecture by the Director of the Aga Khan Museum on the role of museums in the development of societies

The National Museum of Bahrain has hosted on Sunday 24 November 2019 a lecture entitled “The Importance and Role of Museums in Community Development” presented by Henry Kim, Director and CEO of the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, Canada. During the lecture, Mr. Kim discussed the important role of museums and their activities in addressing actual issues and events in our world today. Kim took the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto as an example of how the museum has evolved over the last five years and became closer to social and cultural issues.
