The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) in India collaborates with the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) and other AKDN agencies to deliver programme activities in agriculture and livelihoods; civil society; community health; early childhood development and education; and water, sanitation and hygiene promotion. The Foundation aims to improve the status and quality of life of the most marginalised communities, and its activities currently benefit more than 1.3 million people in the states of Bihar, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
