The Aga Khan Hospital is set to bring back Tanzanian medics who immigrated abroad in a move to provide quality health services in the country. In an exclusive interview with this reporter recently, Chief Executive Officer of the Aga Khan Health Services, Sulaiman Shahabuddin said the exercise will start soon after completing the hospital’s extension. According to Shahabuddin, the plan will work out as the hospital is set to construct a 12,000 square metres as an extension wing which will cost USD70m and is expected to employ not less than 8,000 health workers including medical doctors and specialists.
