The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, Canada was founded in 2014 on an area of 10,000 m². It is dedicated to presenting an overview of the artistic, intellectual, and scientific contributions that Muslim civilisations have made to world heritage. The museum houses hundreds of rare artefacts, including ceramics, metal tools, paintings, many Qur’an copies that show the development of Arabic calligraphy, and a group of manuscripts, including the oldest known copy of the book of "Al-Qanoon" by Avicenna.
