Govt praises Aga Khan on investments
The government has commended the Aga Khan Development Network for its contribution to the economic development of the country. Deputy minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation Susan Kolimba said the network has invested heavily in education, healthcare, culture, infrastructure and tourism.
Each year, the AKDN reaches 2 million students
The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) has worked for many years to ensure that students of all ages have access to quality learning opportunities. The Network reportedly operates programs and institutions which span the educational ladder, from early childhood programs to primary and secondary schools, from vocational studies for youth and adults to university degrees and continuing professional development.

Girls shine in SSC exams held under Aga Khan board
The Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) on Wednesday announced results for its Secondary and Higher Secondary School Certifications for the May 2016 examination session. This year, the AKU-EB assessed students in 95 subjects across 23 cities in Pakistan. Alina Fatima of Al-Murtaza School, Karachi and Hira Naz of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Kuragh (Chitral, KPK) scored 93.36pc and secured the first position for the SSC.
