The Aga Khan Planning and Building Service, Pakistan (AKPBS,P) has been named the 2005 winner of the US $1 million Alcan Prize for Sustainability by the Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) for its efforts to improve Pakistan’s built environment and water and sanitation facilities

The Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) joined the Government of the Punjab and the World Bank today in support of a project for the regeneration, renewal, and conservation of Lahore’s Walled City.

His Excellency Moctar Ouane, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Mali and the Director of the Department of Diplomatic Affairs of the Ismaili Imamat, Dr. Shafik Sachedina, today signed an agreement of cooperation between the Republic of Mali, the Ismaili Imamat and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).
